Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Acts 16:31 You and your home

God wants entire families to be saved. Not content with one person in a family accept salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. But this is not always true, sometimes only after many years, other family members come to believe in the Lord. However, the Spirit of God gives us an example in the book of Acts. We read that the Philippian jailer believed on the Lord with all his house (Acts 16:34). By the grace of God it still happens today.
A missionary, who worked at a station that broadcast the Gospel in Arabic, he met a young Moroccan who had become thanks to the message heard on that station. Following his conversion, his family treated him like a dog. Being Christian is not allowed to eat with the family, because it was "unclean." His mother, very sad about what happened to the boy, had to admit that despite the domestic abuse of his son's life had changed and improved.
Some years later the missionary found in Morocco at a young very similar to one he had seen long ago. It was his brother! Then he asked if he too had become a Christian. With much joy this young man told him that he, like his sister and mother were now believers and together they prayed for the conversion of his father. Yes, God had kept his word: "you and your home."
