The God of all grace, who called to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you.
1 Peter 5:10 God is our refuge and strength, present help in trouble.
Psalm 46:1
Reflections on suffering and faith
Jesus came not to eliminate suffering, but to fill it with their presence.
***
Only the Word of He brings a real answer to the mystery incomprehensible suffering.
Only at the end of time we fully understand how "all things" has helped our good (Romans 8:28). Having faith is believing in advance what will only make sense later. ***
The greatest triumphs of faith are met in the midst of the greatest tests. ***
Faith is like a bird that sings while the night is still dark. ***
A faith tested is a faith strengthened. Through the test we learn to know our weakness, but God's faithfulness and tender care. ***
"Knowing that the test de vuestra fe produce paciencia. Mas tenga la paciencia su obra completa, para que no os falte cosa alguna". (Santiago 1:3-4)
