The free man thinks, "But it is rather like a captive bird in a cage? By disobeying God was placed under the ruthless domination of Satan. But Jesus came into this world to destroy the devil's work, to proclaim "liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison inmates" (Isaiah 61:1). The apostle Paul and Silas, though they were imprisoned in Philippi, sang and prayed (Acts 16:23-25). His faith triumphed over his sufferings. All the circumstances of his life, crossed with his teacher, became a source of peace and joy. This is true freedom.
The first header biblical text invites us not allow ourselves to be enslaved by the attraction of wealth, power, a life overactive sex ... All these are traps set by Satan, who does not want to ruin our alma, pues no puede hacerlo, sino nuestra vida cristiana en la tierra.
El secreto para escapar a sus ardides es conocer la gracia de Dios, la cual nos exhorta a esto: "Renunciando a la impiedad y a los deseos mundanos, vivamos en este siglo sobria, justa y piadosamente" (Tito 2:11-12).
